St Mary's Church of England Primary School

Key Stage 2 Teacher

We are looking for an exceptional Key Stage 2 teacher to join our teaching staff. The successful candidate will be experienced, enthusiastic and self motivated and committed to the vision of the school. This is a rare opportunity to join a school keen to inspire pupils and where staff aspire for excellence.

If you have a passion for providing an outstanding education at a village school whilst preparing children to flourish at secondary school this is the role for you.

Following the current post holder taking up a Headship at another school within the Trust, this role is perfect for colleagues looking to develop their school leadership and have an impact beyond their own classroom.

Our priority is to have incredible teachers teaching our pupils. The advertised post is full time but we will consider a part time contract for the right candidate. A specialism in Maths, RE or PE would complement the skills and experience of our current staff team but is not essential.

  • an experienced, fun staff team to work alongside,
  • enthusiastic pupils, eager to learn,
  • a bespoke programme of professional development,
  • the opportunity of career development opportunities, within our school and Trust,
  • a supportive local governing body and staff team, and
  • a rich school culture reflecting our vision as Church of England primary school.

  • an experienced and passionate teacher who can deliver an outstanding education,
  • a teacher who has high expectations for all pupils and is able to inspire them to achieve great things,
  • a teacher who can establish a stimulating and vibrant learning environment for the children,
  • a teacher committed to developing their practice to improve outcomes for children,
  • a teacher who can coordinate a specific area of the curriculum,
  • a practitioner able to successfully lead a team and support other professionals and,
  • a flexible individual who will use their initiative where necessary.

If you are interested in finding out more, please get in touch. We encourage all potential applicants to arrange a visit to discover the unique atmosphere of this school. The school leaders would love to meet you and share their vision for this incredible village primary school.

Applications should be submitted via Eteach.
